Exopert is developing and commercializing exosome isolation and analysis technology for the life sciences industry.

Exopert’s Exo-i platform isolates exosomes by using chromatography and is able to collect intact exosomes that are suitable for downstream analysis. The company uses Raman scattering to analyze the isolated exosomes. Raman scattering gives the structure of the molecule by changing the scattered light due to vibration and rotation of the molecule.

Chromatography allows separation using only the path difference of particles depending on column sizes; thus, no other chemical or physical modification is made to the exosomes. Capture of high-purity exosomes enables more accurate and comprehensive information to be obtained from each exosome.
