Company Overview
Holcim is a Switzerland-based global building materials and aggregates company. The original company merged on July 10, 2015, with Lafarge to form LafargeHolcim as the new company, Holcim Group, in 2021. The company operates in the global markets through its four business segments: cement, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, solutions and products. Some major brands under the Holcim Group are ACC, Aggregate Industries, Ambuja Cement, Disensa, Firestone Building Products, Geocycle, Holcim, Lafarge and Malarkey Roofing Products.
In 2022, Holcim Group recycled 34 million tons of construction materials across its business. It is increasing this rate to reach 100 million tons by 2030. The company recycled 6.8 million tons of CDW in 2022 and is scaling up to recycle 10 million tons by 2025.
