Kenvue, formerly the Consumer Healthcare division of Johnson & Johnson, is a pure-play consumer health company. In May 2023, Kenvue was listed as a public company on the New York Stock Exchange, trading under the KVUE ticker symbol. Following the Separation, J&J continues to own approximately 9.5% of Kenvue ‘s outstanding common stock.
Kenvue operates through three segments: Self Care, Skin Health and Beauty, and Essential Health. All three segments cater to the OTC products market. The self-care segment includes pain care, cough, cold, allergy, digestive health, smoking cessation, and eye care categories. The Skin Health and Beauty segment focuses on face and body care and hair and sun care, emphasizing skin care solutions. The Essential Health segment includes oral care, baby care, women's health, and wound care products.The company has a broad geographical reach with a market presence in over 165 countries.
