Kovalus Separation Solutions Inc., formerly Koch Separation Solutions, initially focused on developing separation and purification technologies but has since introduced several ultrafiltration products and systems. Kovalus has several global offices and four manufacturing sites. It provides membrane filtration, ion exchange, evaporators and dryers for the industrial, food, beverage, dairy, and other markets. The company offers a portfolio of liquid-solid separation technologies for a wide range of applications, such as product recovery, concentration, purification, and wastewater treatment. The business rebranding came with the acquisition of Koch Separation Solutions, a subsidiary of Koch Industries Inc., by private investment firm Sun Capital Partners Inc. in 2023.
