Kureha operates in 10 countries and exports approximately 25% of its total sales. It has two production sites in Japan that supply specialty products globally. It also manufactures and sells carbon fiber for insulation in high-temperature furnaces. Its Iwaki factory serves as the main production base, while manufacturing a wide range of specialty products used in automotive and electronic components, including functional resins, carbon fiber, lithium-ion battery materials, and raw materials for food packaging and pharmaceuticals.
