Hydrogen storage

Linde uses tanker trucks and storage containers to distribute hydrogen from its plants to customers’ sites. Its engineering business segment covers the entire value chain of hydrogen, including storage. It offers cryogenic tanks for liquid hydrogen and other gases ranging in capacity from 3,000 to more than 100,000 liters. These tanks are available with standardized working pressures of 18, 22, or 36 bars. For high-capacity storage of gaseous hydrogen, Linde operates underground high-purity commercial salt caverns in Texas.
