Micron Technology’s major business segments include the compute and networking business unit, which makes the memory products sold to the cloud server, enterprise, graphics and networking markets. The mobile business unit encompasses memory and storage products for smartphones and other mobile devices. The storage business unit offers solid-state drives (SSDs) and component-level solutions sold in enterprise and cloud, client, and consumer storage markets, as well as other discrete storage products. The embedded business unit includes memory and storage products for the automotive, industrial, and consumer markets. However, after a restricting, its four business units are now the cloud memory business unit, core data center business unit, mobile and client business unit, and automotive and embedded business unit.

Micron offers a portfolio of DRAM, NAND and NOR memory and storage products through its Micron and Crucial brands. Its products are widely used in servers, computers, notebooks, desktops, networking devices, data centers, consumer electronics, communications equipment, industrial, automotive, embedded, and wireless applications.
