Company Overview

Preh GmbH is a globally operating group of companies with headquarters in Bad Neustadt an der Saale in Bavaria. Preh manufactures driver control systems in the interior, sensor systems and control devices. The company developed and produced the Preh Innovative Automation (PIA) system solutions for assembly and production plants, mainly for the automotive industry. Its products include:

• Climate control equipment: Climate control systems, including climate-control software.

• Driver control equipment: Development of key operating systems.

• Sensor systems: Sensors for automotive applications, in particular position sensors for demanding applications, such as for the measurement of brake pad wear, throttle sensors or sensors for level measurement; different measuring principles are used depending on the application.

• Electronic control units (ECUs) and instruments: Control devices for air conditioning and various other applications, such as the integral active steering and battery management for hybrid and electric vehicles.

• Innovative automation: The product range Preh Innovative Automation designs, develops, designs and builds flexible assembly and production lines.
