Company Overview
Renewcell is a Swedish textile recycling company and was founded in 2012. The company develops patented technology for textile recycling. This patented technology recycles the cellulose in used cotton fabrics and converts it into natural and biodegradable dissolving pulp. This dissolving pulp can be used as raw material for textile manufacturers. This product is called Circulose and is prepared from textile waste. Renewcell operates in a global market and exports its products to China, India, Germany, Japan, the U.S., and Austria. In August 2022, the company started its first commercial chemical textile recycling plant in Sweden. The company distributes its product through collaboration with partners.
