With roots dating back to 1939, the company operates across Japan, China, the rest of Asia, and internationally, serving various industries through its four main business segments: semiconductor and electronic materials, mobility, innovation enabling materials, and chemicals. Its broad product portfolio includes high-purity gases, solvents and functional chemicals for semiconductors, advanced materials for automotive and mobility applications, functional resins and ceramics, petrochemicals, graphite electrodes, and industrial gases.

- Semiconductor and Electronic Materials : This segment is used in mobile devices, data centers, power modules, IT infrastructure, electric vehicles, and vehicles with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
