Smurfit Kappa (SKG) is a provider of paper-based packaging solutions. It operates in 23 countries in Europe and 13 in the Americas, with nearly 48,000 employees in approximately 350 production sites in 2021. The company manufactures a broad range of papers majorly used for packaging purposes. The company’s annual paper and board production capacity is nearly 8.3 million tons. It also manufactures and supplies paper-based packaging products, corrugated packaging, solid board, folding cartons, and bag-in-box and tubes.
The company provides corrugated packaging and paper recycling solutions and handles 7.4 million tons of post-consumer recovered paper annually across the globe. Smurfit Kappa owns more than 68,000 hectares of global forest land.
