BetterHelp is Teladoc’s direct-to-consumer behavioral health subsidiary. Teladoc acquired BetterHelp in 2015 for $17 million. The BetterHelp app, available for the iPad, enables users to get professional help from one of 25,000 trained, experienced and accredited therapists covering a wide range of areas – from depression and anxiety to family and couples therapy.

According to Teladoc CEO Jason Gorevic, more than 1 million people received therapy from BetterHelp in 2022. In addition, in 2022 BetterHelp had more than 50 million interactions between patients and therapists.
