WELLESLEY, Mass., Aug 15, 2018– Due to the proliferation of portable electronic devices, the impact of Bluetooth and absorptive EMI, and the increased interest in products that minimize electromagnetic interferences, the global market for shielding technologies is facing an expansion that is met with several difficulties, according to a new report from BCC Research.
In 2017, the global market for shielding technologies was worth $6.6 billion. However, BCC Research estimates that it will be valued at $9.3 billion by 2023, indicating a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.7%, according to EMI/RFI: Materials and Technologies.
Shielding closely follows the demand for electronic devices and components. It is also a valuable resource to assist manufacturers in complying with ever-changing safety and performance regulations and standards.
