Cepheid's systems enable molecular testing for organisms and genetic-based diseases by automating laboratory procedures. Its clinical diagnostics products include testing systems for infectious diseases, oncology, women’s health, and genetic testing. The infectious disease portfolio includes tests for tuberculosis, influenza, COVID-19, sexually transmitted infections, antimicrobial resistance markers, and hospital-acquired infections. Cepheid operates in over 17 countries and has production facilities located in the U.S., Sweden, and India.
