Convatec Group PLC is a manufacturer of medical products operating in four business segments: advanced wound care (AWC), ostomy care, continence and critical care, and infusion care. Its AWC segment encompasses advanced dressings, including foams, antimicrobials, composite/island dressings, alginate and fiber dressings, contact layers, hydrocolloids, films, super absorbents, and hydrogels, as well as external devices such as negative-pressure wound therapy, debridement, energy therapy, and oxygen therapy. It delivers products and services in around 90 countries across four continents. Its products provide numerous therapeutic and financial benefits, including infection prevention, protection for at-risk skin, improved patient outcomes, and reduced overall healthcare costs.
