GE HealthCare is a provider of medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics, and digital solutions globally. On January 3, 2023, General Electric Co. (GE) completed the spin-off of GE HealthCare. Its operations are structured into four main business units: medical imaging, advanced visualization, patient care solutions, and pharmaceutical diagnostics. The patient care solutions segment handles its respiratory‑care instruments, including ventilators.
Within its patient care solutions business, GE markets devices designed for intensive care settings. Its CareStation ventilators integrate precise flow sensors, automated lung-volume routines, and flexible modes to support a wide range of patients, from neonates to adults. The devices come with modular hardware, allowing hospitals to adapt or scale the ventilators according to its care requirements.
