Beonchip was founded in 2016 at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. The company offers in vitro testing platforms to support the development of new drugs, cosmetics, and chemicals. Beonchip’s products are designed in slide format, maximizing their comfortable use under all microscope configurations. The Beonchip uses polymers such as Cyclo olefin polymer (COP) and cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) for the microfabrication of chips. Beonchip´s microfluidic connections are designed for any type of microfluidic control system, such as syringe pumps, peristaltic pumps, or pressure-based flow control systems. Apart from standard chip designs, the company also offers standard chip design products. The company’s products are manufactured by thermoplastic injections, which ensures reproducibility between batches and facilitates high-volume production.
