The global revenue for medical membrane devices is expected to reach $29.4 billion by 2020, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.3% from 2015 to 2020. Membranes are either natural or synthetic barriers that allow small molecules to pass through the membrane while blocking larger ones. During the forecast period, the membrane diagnostic device segment should continue to dominate the global market.
