In addition, experimental artificial organs (liver, pancreas, implanted lung); apheresis filtration for stem cell recovery, virus filters and other cross-flow filters used in the production of pharmaceuticals; and blotting membranes (excluding their application in diagnostics) will not be considered in this report.
